Properties:
Colorless transparent or granular powderwith no or slight propionic acid odor. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol.
Main uses:
1. It has special effect on preventingaflatoxin, but has almost no effect on yeast;
2.Can be used for dairy products, baked products, cheeseand so on. Can be used as beer and other viscous substance inhibitor;
3. Used in food industry as leavening agent, doughconditioner, buffer, tissue improver , hardener, nutrient supplement, chelatingagent, etc. Such as baking products, pastry leavening agents, bread, biscuits,AIDS, buffering agents, pectin curing agent (gel action), yeast food meatproducts tissue improver;
4. Used for brewing, improve thefermentation capacity.
Recommended dosage:
1.The antibacterial effect is affected bythe environmental pH value, the minimum antibacterial concentration at pH 5.0is 0.01%, and at PH 6.5 is 0.5%;
2. Pastry 2.5; Soak bayberry 30~50,impregnate with 3%~5% aqueous solution, wash before processing,according to propionic acid;
3. Processing cheese 3g/kg;
4.Add 2% to cosmetics.
Storage:
It shall be stored in a cool ,dry andventilated place and shall not be mixed with toxic chemicals for transportationand storage.
